CALL FOR PAPERS: RIARA LAW JOURNAL
Riara Law School is dedicated to fostering legal scholarship, advancing African legal
thought, and nurturing world-class academic excellence within Riara University and the
broader legal community. As part of these efforts, we are committed to facilitating the
development of legal scholarship among students, faculty, and practitioners to address
critical legal, political, and institutional challenges and to contribute to meaningful
reforms at various levels.
To achieve these objectives, we are pleased to announce the upcoming edition of the
Riara Law Review—a peer-reviewed scholarly journal on legal topics. The Riara Law
Review, managed collaboratively by students and faculty, serves as an authoritative
platform for exploring significant and pertinent legal issues. Following the successful
publication of the inaugural edition on 1st March 2023, we are now inviting submissions
for the second issue.
Purpose of the Riara Law Review: The journal aims to:
- Periodically publish high-quality legal scholarship.
- Provide platforms for robust legal scholarship and debate.
- Support the development of Riara Law School’s niche through thought
leadership. - Promote and advance African legal thought.
- Enhance the legal research, writing, and analytical skills of scholars at Riara Law
School and beyond. - Foster the study and development of law.
- Serve as a resource for legal research and scholarship.
- Uphold and encourage high standards of academic excellence.
We welcome submissions from legal scholars, practitioners, and students that
contribute to these objectives.
